  19. WHAT"S NEW:
  20. Version 1.4.4 now has the ability to record 'While you were out...' messages
  21. when you invoke password protection. This version also sees improvements 
  22. in the random phrase system.
  23.  
  24. Version 1.3 allows the user to select the font, as well as deciding
  25. the colour randomness. Version 1.3 also fixes a security problem we ran
  26. across with ALT key combinations bypassing password dialogs. This version
  27. also caches 150 Jokes in memory, for less disk activity.

  29. Version 1.2a has fixed the problem with the password protect system not 
  30. kicking in correctly.

  32. Version 1.2 has an improved random colour generation system. A non-fatal 
  33. fault with the detection of mouse movements has been fixed.

  37. DESCRIPTION: JokeBag is a screen saver, that, when invoked by Windows, 
  38. generates humorous quotations, phrases, one-liners and jokes. 
  39.  
  40. To install JokeBag, simply run the SETUP.EXE program. JokeBag must be 
  41. installed in your \WINDOWS directory.
  42.  
  43. You must then start the Windows Control Panel program, and in the 
  44. Desktop applet, choose and Setup the JokeBag screensaver.
  45.  
  46. As installed, JokeBag will only show about 3% of its current phrase database 
  47. (which currently stands at over 7000). The only way you can gain access
  48. to the remainder is to register. For the cost of AUD$15 (US$12), Brighton 
  49. Beach Software will send you a software unlocking code. To use this 
  50. unlocking code, you must start Control Panel, double click on the "Desktop" 
  51. applet, then with "JokeBag" selected as the current screen saver, press 
  52. the Setup button. This will take to you to the Configuration screen. Once 
  53. in the Configuration screen, you can press the Register button and enter 
  54. your unlocking code in the register dialog. This will also legally 
  55. register your use of JokeBag on a single machine.

  57. You can order/register by printing and filling out the following sheet, and
  58. returning it with your International Money Order, International cheque, 
  59. a cheque drawn on an Australian bank, or your MasterCard or Visa details.
  60. You can either mail, fax or e-mail the details to our office.

  62. UNLOCKING CODE: The unlocking code will be sent to you via email, fax or 
  63. mail, whichever is the faster.
  64.  
  65. SITE LICENCES: JokeBag is now available with site licence pricing.
  66. The licence fee is US$100 for upto 20 machines, or US$500 for unlimitted
  67. site licence usage.
  68.  
  69. FREE UPGRADE: All registered users of JokeBag can upgrade to this latest 
  70. version at no cost. Simply install the new version; don't delete any
  71. INI files manually, as your registration code will be lost.
